Rescale has announced a proposed collaboration with Lawrence Berkeley, Oak Ridge, and Lawrence Livermore national laboratories to make U.S. Department of Energy-developed simulation codes more accessible to American industry. The effort, called the Agentic HPC Pipeline Initiative, aims to host these codes on Rescale’s digital engineering platform and use agentic AI to support complex simulation tasks, including mesh configuration, hardware selection, solver tuning, and checkpoint management.
Building on existing work with Oak Ridge’s Manufacturing Demonstration Facility and Lawrence Livermore’s HPC for Energy Innovation program, the initiative aims to reduce the specialized HPC expertise traditionally required to use advanced simulation tools across manufacturing, materials science, fluid dynamics, and energy applications.
