Keysight Technologies has certified its RFPro software, used to simulate electromagnetic effects in radio-frequency and mixed-signal chip designs, for two of Intel Foundry‘s newest manufacturing processes: Intel 14A and Intel 18A-P. The certification aims to give design teams confidence that their simulations will match how the finished chips actually perform, helping catch problems before manufacturing begins.
The work builds on earlier collaboration between the two companies on the Intel 18A node and EMIB-T packaging technology. Intel 14A also introduces new RibbonFET 2 transistor and PowerDirect power-delivery architectures. These processes are expected to support chips used in AI systems, HPC, and mobile devices.
