French startup Hyliko is developing hydrogen fuel cell trucks to help decarbonize long-haul road freight. It offers these trucks through a subscription-based Trucks-as-a-Service model. To design, engineer, and simulate its hybrid hydrogen powertrains, Hyliko uses Dassault Systèmes’ cloud-based 3DEXPERIENCE platform, with support from partner Ohmycad.
On the platform, the company uses CATIA for mechanical and electrical design, SIMULIA for structural design and crash simulation, and 3DEXCITE for visualization. This lets teams working from different locations collaborate on one shared digital model. As Hyliko prepares for large-scale production, it aims to use ENOVIA and DELMIA to connect design, engineering, and manufacturing processes across its supply chain.
