AVL released a new version (2025 R2) of its simulation software. The release includes enhancements to CRUISEâ„¢ M, such as Model Flow Diagrams for visualizing energy transport and a new Profile Composition component for driving cycle generation. EXCITEâ„¢ M updates include improvements in frequency-domain solutions and expanded joint result handling. The FIREâ„¢ M module adds extended capabilities for fuel cell, electrolyzer and battery thermal runaway simulations with GPU support. Additional changes in Scenario Designer, Scenario Simulator, VSMâ„¢ and Model.CONNECTâ„¢ aim to streamline workflows, support ASAM standards, and improve co-simulation.
