Rosenberger, a provider of connectivity solutions for data, energy and communication systems, is using SIMULIA’s Abaqus and CST Studio Suite simulation tools to support the development of connector products. The company applies virtual prototyping to evaluate electrical, mechanical and manufacturing requirements early in the design process, aiming to predict performance before physical testing. According to Rosenberger, this approach helps optimize material usage, reduce dependence on physical prototypes and support the development of connectors for applications such as electric vehicles and data centers.
