Through this collaboration, MathWorks intends to support engineers in using MATLAB and Simulink to train, integrate, and deploy AI models on embedded hardware across industries including automotive, aerospace, and industrial automation. The workflow encompasses system-level simulation, multi-framework compatibility with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and ONNX, optimized C/C++, CUDA, and HDL code generation, and verification tools for safety-critical systems. The membership also seeks to make edge AI more accessible through low-code tools that allow model training without deep AI expertise.
