ENGYS has launched HELYX 4.5.0, an update to its open-source CFD platform, introducing several notable capabilities:
- Multi-Physics Interface: a modular GUI framework aims to combine different physics and solver settings on multi-region meshes
- Meshing: enhancements in boundary layer control, reference frames, and feature-based refinement, with aims to reduce CPU time and memory usage
- Post-Processing: a new native case reader aims to deliver faster case loading and lower memory consumption
- Usability: new navigation tools, surface picker, and improved probe management
The release also covers updates to its add-on modules, HELYX-Coupled, HELYX-Adjoint, and HELYX-Marine. Licensed users can download the new version through the ENGYS Customer Portal.
