PhysicsX Secures $300M to Expand Physics-Based AI Platform

PhysicsX, a UK-based company building AI software for industrial engineering, has raised $300 million in Series C funding at a valuation of approximately $2.4 billion. The round was led by Temasek, with participation from new and existing investors including Applied Materials, Atomico, General Catalyst, NVIDIA, and Siemens, among others. According to the company, the funds will go toward international expansion, development of its engineering platform, and research into what it calls “Large Physics Models,” a form of pre-trained AI for simulating physical behavior. Companies’ software is currently used by organizations in aerospace & defense, semiconductors, automotive, energy, and materials manufacturing.
