Keysight Technologies has added assembly simulation to its Virtual Manufacturing Portfolio with the introduction of Keysight Assembly in April 2026. Developed with automotive OEM partners, the solution aims to help automotive and industrial manufacturers detect assembly issues like distortion and dimensional risks earlier in development, before they reach the costly physical build stage. It replicates shop-floor processes such as part positioning, clamping, and joining through guided workflows requiring no finite element modeling (FEM) expertise. Integrating with Keysight’s existing stamping simulation software, it aims to connect forming and assembly stages into a single workflow, validated against pre-production scan data.
