Groupe Rocher, a France-based family-owned pioneer in natural beauty and wellness with brands like Yves Rocher, Sabon, and Arbonne, has announced a collaboration with Dassault Systèmes to transform cosmetics formulation using virtual twin technology. Dassault Systèmes aims to build virtual twins on its 3DEXPERIENCE platform that combine generative AI, 3D chemical modeling, and simulation to predict how plant-based active ingredients interact with skin. This approach aims to reduce laboratory trials, shortening formulation timelines and time-to-market. The collaboration will initially focus on the Ice Plant, with plans to gradually extend to other active ingredients.
