EYE4NIR is developing dual-band imaging technology that combines visible and short-wave infrared (SWIR) sensing within a single device, aiming to help physical AI systems perceive information conventional cameras cannot, such as viewing inside a package without opening it. Its pixel architecture allows electronic switching between visible and SWIR sensing from the same pixel, enabling multispectral imaging for machine vision.
To take this design from concept to silicon, EYE4NIR uses Cadence‘s full design flow, where Virtuoso Studio supports schematic capture, simulation, and design optimization for analog circuits, and Cadence’s cloud-based services support its growing engineering team. EYE4NIR is currently manufacturing development kits for interested customers and is working toward full-scale production, marking a step forward in making advanced imaging more accessible.
