Cadence and NVIDIA Unveil Accelerated Engineering Solutions Purpose-Built for Agentic AI Chip and System Design

Cadence has expanded its collaboration with NVIDIA to bring agentic AI into chip, system, and AI factory design — areas where traditional approaches are increasingly falling short. The partnership covers three fronts: autonomous chip design through the ChipStack AI Super Agent, GPU-accelerated EDA and SDA tools spanning place-and-route, thermal, power integrity, and multiphysics simulation, and AI factory planning through the Reality Digital Twin Platform integrated with NVIDIA Omniverse.

The Millennium M2000 Supercomputer serves as the underlying hardware platform for deploying these workflows, while NVIDIA CUDA-X underpins the solver acceleration across the portfolio. The collaboration also extends into life sciences, with ROCS X and Target X aiming to transform drug discovery workflows. On the customer side, Honda aims to use Cadence Fidelity CFD for full turbofan engine simulation, Micron is embedding GPU-accelerated tools into its HBM memory design flow, and Larsen & Toubro Semiconductor is leveraging the Spectre X Simulator to advance India’s semiconductor ambitions.
