Aura Aero Selects Qarnot to Support Decarbonized Aircraft Design

Aura Aero, a French aircraft manufacturer, has selected Qarnot, a sovereign, low-carbon HPC cloud provider, to support its growing computing needs for aircraft design and simulation. The partnership aims to give Aura Aero‘s engineering teams expanded computing capacity for aerodynamic simulation, performance analysis, and design validation across its aircraft programmes, including the INTEGRAL trainer and the ERA hybrid-electric regional aircraft.
Qarnot’s infrastructure reuses server-generated heat, aiming to address data sovereignty, cybersecurity, and environmental sustainability requirements. Beyond computing capacity, Qarnot is set to provide operational support for managing CFD simulations, resource allocation, and calculation parallelisation, helping engineers concentrate on aircraft design rather than infrastructure management.
